When I was in the middle of the pandemic after a year – around mid-2021 and our driving team of FIA SDC had created processes and routines as well as built relationships with the different countries' motor clubs, we decided that I had "outsourced" myself in the role of race director of the incentive and contact network. Today, I am on the board of Greater Than, the supplier that runs the platform towards the world's motor clubs, with the FIA as the sender.
The initiative has been broadened and strengthened over the years and became one of two products at COP 28 in Dubai 2023, in "the blue zone," where world leaders and the press were received. Of course, everyone was offered the opportunity to learn more about the initiative and to test drive the product on-site in Dubai.
At present, there is no other CSR project that can be implemented in all countries and on all cars, regardless of fuel (cars produced from the year 2000, with OBD contact) that helps to create insights into how you, yourself can influence reducing your own CO2 emissions when driving your car as well as reducing the risk of exposing yourself and other road users to a traffic accident.
